I should really be catching up on some much needed sleep, but I’m afraid insomnia strikes again!
Some progress shots of a long pose figure drawing. So far I’d say I’ve put 9 or 10 hours into this? I think I crunched the value range towards the end a little too hard, and I actually like step 3 the most (the order of the drawings is a bit off because I wanted step 3 to be the large thumbnail, not step 4!). Fortunately the model will be back in a few weeks and I’ll have another chance to address the midtones.
Robin’s a beautiful model, and she was a joy to draw. I don’t feel I did her justice, but I’m glad to say this is at least one of my stronger drawings.
